With the MAS blocks from PolyCare, you can build a house in less than two weeks.
A PolyCare house can be built with unskilled people. Furthermore, it does not require heavy machinery.
Thanks to the special material and construction properties of MAS blocks, our houses are particularly affordable with high quality standards at the same time.
Yes. Polycare’s MAS System is assessed and certified by Agrément South Africa as required for building with alternative methods in South Africa and also Namibia. Agrément is an independent organisation that evaluates the fitness for purpose of non-standardised building and construction products and systems by applying performance-based criteria in its assessment procedure. PolyCare’s MAS system has also been tested extensively in Germany and complies with German standards. Furthermore, Polycare’s MAS system is accepted by the City of Windhoek as a permanent structure and is financed by local banks.
A wall from PolyCare is not necessarily cheaper than conventional brickwork but when considered as an entire project costing is very competitive. In addition, building quality is much higher. The insulation is already applied in the bricks and plaster or paint is not necessary. Due to higher quality material properties the running costs (such as heating or cooling) of a building are lower and contributes to long-term cost savings. Also the construction is much faster. This total package makes a house from PolyCare again cheaper than conventional houses.
Quick, easier, faster indvidually, time-saving, less equipment, less waste
It depends on the size of the house. On average it takes between 2 and 5 days to build the walls of a MAS elements based house.
The MAS system allows for plumbing and electrical installation where conduits and pipes are inserted inside the blocks as the walls are constructed. Conventional piping, conduits, fittings and wiring is used.
No skilled personnel are required to set up and dismantle the MAS system. The use is limited to planning and construction supervision.
